Why start UOVO?

Our founder, Bill, has spent over 25 years in the footwear industry — designing and manufacturing shoes for many of the largest names in fashion. After two decades inside that world, the pattern became hard to ignore: quality, fit, and the fundamentals of how a shoe should perform were consistently traded away in pursuit of higher margins.

We started UOVO to do it differently.

Our mission is straightforward — make thoughtfully designed, high-quality footwear without compromising the things that matter most. No corner-cutting on materials. No shortcuts in construction. No sacrificing fit to hit a price.

We call it a Return to the Original. Building shoes the way they were meant to be made, before the industry took a turn.
